Hiroden's streetcars leave Hiroshima Station for the centre on two routes that share Kanayamacho, Ebisucho, Hatchobori and Kamiyacho-higashi; route 2 carries on to Kamiyacho-nishi, route 1 turns south to Hondori, Fukuromachi and Chuden-mae. Of these 38 hotels, 16 publish a walk to Hiroshima Station, 5 publish a walk to Kanayamacho, 2 publish a walk to Ebisucho, 7 publish a walk to Hatchobori, 1 publishes a walk to Kamiyacho-higashi, 1 publishes a walk to Kamiyacho-nishi, 4 publish a walk to Fukuromachi and 6 publish a walk to Chuden-mae — some name more than one — and 3 state a direct connection to the station. Downtown hotels name a tram stop because that is how the centre is reached from the Shinkansen; each card shows the stop or exit its hotel names.

How many changes from Tokyo and Kansai Airport?

From Tokyo Station, Hiroshima Station takes no change — the Nozomi runs there; Kanayamacho, Ebisucho, Hatchobori, Kamiyacho-higashi, Kamiyacho-nishi, Fukuromachi and Chuden-mae take one change, at Hiroshima Station. From Kansai Airport, Hiroshima Station takes one change, at Shin-Osaka Station; Kanayamacho, Ebisucho, Hatchobori, Kamiyacho-higashi, Kamiyacho-nishi, Fukuromachi and Chuden-mae take two changes, at Shin-Osaka Station and Hiroshima Station. Each card shows the journey to the station or stop its hotel names. Hiroshima Airport buses are not covered.

How big are the rooms?

36 of the 38 hotels publish the size of their rooms on their own site, and each card shows the smallest one listed. Among them it runs from 9–10 m² at HOTEL LiVEMAX Hiroshima Heiwa Koen-Mae to 35 m² at Hilton Hiroshima. Within one star class the spread is still wide: the 5-star hotels here start anywhere from 17 m² to 35 m². A bed width is shown only where the hotel states it. Hotel Hiroshima Garden Palace and Super Hotel Hiroshima have no room size recorded here — none stated on the hotel's own site in a form this page could check — so their cards show none.

Where do these figures come from, and are prices shown?

Walking times come from the property, never from us. Each one is the hotel's own published access line — station, exit and minutes — read from its own website; four of those pages show their access text only in a browser and were read there. We do not measure distances ourselves and do not convert map coordinates into walking times. Guest scores are Trip.com's own, out of 10, each shown with the number of reviews it is calculated from. Room rates are not shown: they move daily and by date, so a figure written into the page would be wrong within a day. Each hotel's link goes to the booking partner's page, where the current price is. Hotels are listed by guest score, with the review count breaking ties — there is no ranking of our own and no written verdict on which stay suits which traveller, because nobody here has stayed in them.
